Donkey Kong Country Returns concept art is stunning

You know art is of exceptional quality when your first instinct is to start listing off devices you own that have screen sizes small enough to match the web-sized piece in question. You’re getting an upgrade, Eee PC!

Holmes sent this — a post on ConceptArt.org by user Sammy of various Donkey Kong Country Returns illustrations — in to our internal tip line. He freaked out, but wasn’t able to claim it. Similarly, Chad wasn’t able to take the story but freaked out even more.

Now, I know I can’t possibly lose my mind over something like this more than Mr. Concelmo. That said, I’ll give it my best — not here, though. Writing my thoughts down at this point would result in an unreadable blob of excited vocal garbage. Be sure to scroll down the forum post for more art.
