Domain Expansion Guide in Jujutsu Infinite

Domain Expansions are your ultimate moves and are a crucial element of both late-game PVP and PVE. Unlocking them can be done through the storyline but also through chest drops. Let’s explain everything there is to know about Domain Expansions in Jujutsu Infinite.

How to Unlock Domain Expansion in Jujutsu Infinite

Here are four steps you need to complete in order to unlock complete Domain Expansions:

• Step 1: You need to have a Legendary or Special Grade Innate Technique (Other rarities only get Incomplete Domains, which I’ll cover below).
• Step 2: You need to reach the required Innate Mastery to unlock your Domain Expansion. For example, Volcano needs 270, and Demon Vessel 250, but Soul Manipulation needs much more at 350.
• Step 3: You need a Domain Shard to unlock it, which you can get in two ways. One is by progressing the Story to the Domain Expansion mission, and the other is by getting it as a Special Grade drop from any chest.
• Step 4: You need to be Level 420 to use the Domain Shard.
• (For Some Innates) Step 5: If your Innate has a Maximum technique, you need to unlock it first. The process is similar, but instead of Domain Shards, you need a Maximum Scroll which is also a story quest reward or a Special Grade drop similar to Domain Shards.

Once all of these steps are complete you simply need to find your Domain in the Innates tab and click on it to unlock. There is a Story mission that will eventually get that give you an Incomplete Domain until you can get a Domain Shard for a complete Domain. Incomplete Domains allow you to clash Domains and provide minor damage and defense buffs.

How to Farm Domain Shards in Jujutsu Infinite

Since Domain Shards drop from any chest as Special Grades, you need to get as many of them as possible. Besides farming Missions for chests, you should also do all your Dailies and use the AFK room when you’re not playing.  Also, there are a few ways to make it easier for Domain Shards to drop, and you should combine them for the best chances:

• Lotus: Make sure to use the highest-level Lotus you have when opening chests for Domain Shards to guarantee higher-tier drops. If you can get an Iridescent Lotus, this one will guarantee Special Grades to drop.
• Beckoning Cats: Use the highest-level Cat you have to increase your Luck for better drops, but note that they don’t stack with each other.
• Luck Potion: Luck Potions stack with Cats to increase your Luck even further.
• Fortune Gourd: These give 100% Luck on your next chest.

By combining these and getting chests, your chances for Domain Shards are drastically increased. This farming method also works for Maximum Techniques, Awakenings, and Cursed Energy Natures.

How to Use Domain Expansions in Jujutsu Infinite

You use Domains the same way as other Innate moves, but they have a longer casting time than other techniques. If another player is casting a Domain at the same time, your Domains will clash, and there will be a brief quick-time event. Here, you have to press a button with the right timing when the red line reaches the blue zones. The more precise, the more Domain bar you generate. Whoever fills the Domain bar first activates their Domain.

Each Domain buffs your damage and defense, but Domains also have special benefits and enhance certain abilities from that moveset. If you have the Barrier Mastery node from the Technique skill tree, your Domains will also last 30 seconds longer, and you’ll be able to perform them while stunned. Incomplete Domain Expansions in Jujutsu Infinite

If you don’t have a Legendary or Special Grade Innate Technique, you can still get a Domain Expansion by finishing the Domain quest through the storyline. However, this one will be an Incomplete Domain. They don’t have any special abilities but they do buff your damage and defenses. You can also clash with Incomplete Domains if another user uses a complete domain from Legendary/Special Grade Innates.
