Palworld, the lovingly dubbed “Pokémon with guns” game, has taken over the gaming landscape with releases on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5. Many have wondered if crossplay will ever be arriving in the game, and thankfully, we now have a new update on that query.
After its January 19 launch, Palworld has been in early access with support for servers of up to 32 players at once. It would be a fantastic way to play with your friends, no matter the system they play on, if Palworld crossplay is a thing. And now, at long last, it finally is.

Palworld crossplay finally arrives
With the 0.5.0 update that launched on March 19, 2025, players can finally join forces together through crossplay. PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC can finally join forces in a big 32-player lobby.
For crossplay to work, you should be able to find an invite code. Once you have that, give it to your friend, and they can join you from the main menu of Palworld. You should also be able to find your friends’ server(s) if need be.
The 0.5.0 update also brings the following:
- Photo Mode
- Global Pal Box, which lets you transfer these monsters from one world to another
- Dimensional Pal Storage, which adds 10x the capacity of the regular Palbox
- The Antique Dresser lets you change your armor appearance and doesn’t impact your stats
- The Drafting Table gives the ability to combine low-rarity blueprints into higher-quality ones

Hopefully, the game manages to stay online, as The Pokemon Company earlier this year sued Palworld‘s developer for patent infringements.
