Does the Darkmoon Faire buff work for Dream Wardens reputation?

Yes, the Darkmoon Faire buff does in fact work when obtaining Dream Wardens reputation. If you have the buff active when t turning in a quest that rewards the rep, or consume a token that does so, you will receive 10% more.

Also, the buff stacks with other forms of reputation gains. This makes it a no-brainer that you should always be re-applying the Darkmoon Faire buff when it expires. Especially with the Dream Wardens faction being brand new, this will be a great way to quickly reach Renown Level 20.

How to get the Darkmoon Faire buff in WoW

To make use of the Darkmoon Faire event and receive increased reputation gains, you need to visit the Darkmoon Faire. The Darkmoon Faire only comes around several times per year, but thankfully, it’s here right at the start of the WoW 10.2 update. In fact, the current Darkmoon Faire runs from November 5 through December 3, which is plenty of time to make use of it to increase your reputation with the Dream Wardens faction.

If you are on an Alliance character, you want to head to Elwynn Forest and look for the purple eye icon on your map. Head there and you will see a portal to the Darkmoon Faire.

Once at the Fair, head down the hill and you will see a cool little faire nestled in the dark corners of the forest. The absolute fastest way to get the Darkmoon Faire buff is to head to the carousel located in the center. You will see an NPC named Kae Ti in front who will sell you a book of five tickets for 1 Gold. By the book, then use it to get the tickets.

Now just right-click on one of the seats on the carousel and your character will jump and start receiving the buff. Every few seconds five minutes will be added to your buff duration, so ride the carousel long enough that you get up to 60 minute duration. An hour later when your buff expires, just head back to the Darkmoon Faire and ride again to get the buff again! If you run out of tickets, you can always buy five more from Kae Ti for just 1 Gold.

Is there any other way to increase your reputation with the Dream Wardens?

The easiest way to increase your Dream Wardens reputation gains would be to purchase a Contract: Dream Wardens off the auction house. Depending on the prices, you will want to pick up the highest-rank Contract available. These Contracts will provide 10-15 extra reputations for the Dream Wardens for every World Quest you complete.

With the Contract: Dream Wardens active, you can get an extra 400 Reputation per World Quest reset just from the bonus rep each rotation.

Another way to increase your rep gain with Dream Wardens, though it’s not exactly ideal, is to be a Human. The Racial Passive for Human gives you a 10% more reputation from all sources. This actually stacks with the Darkmoon Faire buff, too. So, for example, one of the Dream Warden reputation tokens that typically gives you 2,500 rep will actually give you a whopping 3,000 if you are Human with the Darkmoon Faire buff.
