Disney Dreamlight Valley: Curiouser and Curiouser quest guide

Now that you’ve unlocked another part of Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Everafter biome, Teapot Falls, you’ll begin exploring it in search of another Fairy Tale Trial. This leads us right into The Storybook Vale’s Curiouser and Curiouser quest, with some interesting teacup adventures coming up.

Curiouser and Curiouser quest walkthrough

Upon entering Teapot Falls for the first time, you’ll immediately begin the Curiouser and Curiouser quest, which will ask you to explore the region. As you reach the northeast corner, you’ll notice broken teacups blocking the way to another Fairy Tale Trial gate.

As you approach the spot, you’ll quickly realize you have no idea how to get rid of them. Your character decides to take a picture before enlisting help from someone who spent a lot of time protecting this region — that’s right: Flynn Rider.

Finding the Teapot Shovel potion recipe

Following a brief conversation with Flynn about the teacups, you’ll reconvene with the Lorekeeper to discuss it further. They’ll mention Aurora again before prompting you to solve another Storybook Re-order puzzle.

Unlocking this story, Aurora and the Teapot Falls, requires collecting the following snippets:

• Green Frog (10)
• Red Frog (5)
• Blue Bird (3)

You’ll easily find Blue Bird Snippets in The Bind, while green and red frogs hop around Teapot Falls. You can also find Green Frog Snippets in The Wild Woods if there aren’t many spawning in Teapot Falls.

Once you have each Snippet, bring them back to the Lorekeeper and solve the puzzle. This one isn’t too tricky compared to some later in the book, but it’s definitely tougher than the first one you solved. Here’s the complete solution for the picture.

It’ll appear in your Lorekeeper Tales section of the collection log to view again if you wish. Looking at the picture, you’ll notice a shovel, the Bind, and a bookshelf nearby. Let’s head to The Bind.

Crafting the Teapot Shovel potion

After teleporting or running to The Bind, head to the biome’s eastern half and approach the bookshelves next to the staircase. The one on the far right end will have the book you need. Interact with this spot to learn the recipe for a Teacup Shovel Potion.

You’ll need the following materials to make it:

• Sour Berries (5)
• Yellow Tale Cone Flowers (5)
• Volcanic Rock (4)
• Slate Gray Rose (3)

Sour Berries and Yellow Tale Cone Flowers are readily available all over The Bind, making those fairly easy to find. Volcanic Rock is a drop from mining nodes and digging the ground in Everafter and Mythopia, while Slate Gray Rose spawns exclusively in Teapot Falls and the Fallen Fortress.

After collecting all four items, head to your crafting table, navigate to the Potion & Enchantment section, and make the potion. You’ll find it in your inventory, where you can use it to upgrade your shovel.

With that out of the way, you can now officially approach the Fairy Tale Trial, swing your Royal Net at the wheel, and conclude the Curiouser and Curiouser quest. You’ll immediately begin the Teapot Falls quest, where the challenge truly begins.
