Blood Surge is a very high-damage build, even while building Essence to continue the Blood Surge spam. The ability to do so much damage all the time makes this one of the strongest leveling builds in the entire game.

With this build you will be able to clear content all the way into the end-game. In fact, with some tweaks, you can even continue this build into the end-game. Even though it’s got some of the best raw damage output across all builds, it also has insane survivability making the Necromancer an absolute tank.

• Armor: Socket the best Ruby Gems to increase your Maximum Life.
• Jewelry: Socket Diamond Gems to increase your Resistances.

Blood Surge Necromancer Best Legendary Item Aspects

With the Blood Surge Necromancer leveling build, there is really only one Legendary Aspect you need. It increases your total damage output with Blood Surge by a lot, making leveling even faster. Here is the Legendary Aspect you want:

• Blood-bathed Aspect (Hoarfrost Demise, Fractured Peaks) — Blood Surge’s nova echoes again after a short delay, dealing [50-60]% less damage.
