Devolver Digital will have another wild summer livestream on June 8

Brace yourself for another Devolver Digital livestream

It looks like the trend of wild and fun Devolver Digital live streams will continue this year. Devolver announced via their website that we can expect their annual presentation as part of the Summer Game Fest this year. The stream will start on June 8 at 3PM Pacific Time. It looks as though the presentation will revolve around “the world’s favorite video game mascot” Volvy as his original creator Ronathan Trodfield once again reveals to us the future of video games.

Always a fun stream with plenty of new game announcements

As with every annual event, we can expect some new game announcements, playable demos, and some wild surprises.

Last year we got a look at a handful of new titles including roguelite action gameĀ Cult of the Lamb which just got its big “Relics of the Old Faith” update last month.

Interestingly, some of the titles from last year’s show haven’t actually come out. We just saw the 2D and 3D combo adventure game The Plucky Squire as part of the PlayStation Showcase last week. Anger Foot and Skate Story still have a release date of 2023 so it’s possible we’ll get an update on their progress and maybe even an actual release date.

Despite the promise of its return, E3 2023 was officially canceled in both physical and digital format earlier this year. Even without E3, the trend of summer game announcements and showcases will continue. The Summer Games Fest will begin on June 8 at Noon Pacific Time. Microsoft will host their Xbox Games Showcase and Starfield Direct just three days later on June 11 at 10AM Pacific Time.
