If you want to get the most out of your arsenal in Destiny 2, you’ll need weapons with the best rolls on their perks and attachments possible. Weapons without great perks are okay at best, but once you have proper rolls, they can quickly skyrocket into becoming your workhorse weapons. Even when it comes to lower-level activities, that’s huge.
One such weapon only comes around once in a while but can be excellent with the right setup. Here’s the best roll for the Warden’s Law hand cannon in Destiny 2.
The best perks and attachments for the Warden’s Law in Destiny 2
The Warden’s Law has the rather unique perk of being a Heavy Burst hand cannon. This causes each shot to fire two rounds that are lower power per bullet. In any other case, this would be horrible and worth throwing in the trash, but the Warden’s Law is an exception. It’s quite a formidable tool and only gets better with hand cannons being the only reliable source of stunning Overload champs between it and Swords. With the right perks, bringing this into a Grandmaster Nightfall can prove immensely successful. The following will do just that:
- Barrel: Arrowhead Brake
- Magazine: Accurized Rounds
- Perk 1: Fourth Time’s the Charm
- Perk 2: Vorpal Weapon
Arrowhead Brake and Accurized Rounds is another classic combo, providing a ton of recoil control, some decent handling, and a nice bit of range. While hand cannons should never be used as snipers, having that extra bit of distance before damage starts to fall off can be quite nice. Fourth Time’s the Charm means you can stay in the fight for longer if you land your shots correctly, which is just nice no matter what. Finally, we have Vorpal Weapon which can seem like an odd choice. However, with how ammo economy can be in things like Grandmaster Nightfalls, having a bit more reliable damage on tankier enemies is massive.
How to get the Warden’s Law hand cannon
The Warden’s Law is acquired exclusively from Nightfall Strikes, but only when it’s the Nightfall weapon of the week. While it is available at the time of writing, it may not be when you’re reading this. Advanced Nightfalls drop the weapon uncommonly, while the Expert and Master difficulties have the weapon as a common reward. Grandmaster Nightfalls are guaranteed to drop the weapon of the week, so they’re the best way to go if you feel confident enough. These also drop the Adept version of that weapon, which improves the weapon’s stats and provides a second option in the Perk 1 slot. In the case of the Warden’s Law, Perpetual Motion can be a good second option if you’re a PvP player.
