The new SSX game focuses on adrenaline-fueled action and jumping from helicopters. So to demonstrate this, EA Sports decided to gather a few unknowing volunteers and throw them off the top of Battersea Power Station in London. I happened to be one of those volunteers…

We got all kitted up with boarding gear and were strapped to a 60-metre high Zip-line. It was then up to us to make the jump off the top of the building into the darkness below. The worst part was looking down, but once I took the leap, it was awesome and I managed to pull off some sweet tricks in my colourful getup. The Zip-line itself lasted 400-metres, so allowed us plenty of time to get some ‘big air’ tricks in.

SSX is available now in the US and will hit UK stores on March 2nd.
