Dead Star announced as the first of April’s PS+ games

We’re just over a week into March, and we already have confirmation of the first PS+ game for April: Dead Star.

Twitter user BLAMdrew discovered his pre-order for Dead Star has been refunded, and the reason given was because the game is going to be part of the April line-up of games:

Dead Star’s inclusion was then confirmed to GameSpot by a PlayStation rep:

Yes, Dead Star will be added to the April free games lineup for PlayStation Plus members. Stay tuned for our announcement on the full April free games lineup for Plus members later this month.

Dead Star is a multiplayer top-down twin-stick shooter developed by ReCore collaborator Armature Studios. From the trailer up top it looks like it’ll be fun, so it’s good to know we can grab it for free next month!
