Bit by bit, more details on the Wii game Dead Space Extraction seem to come to light. Glen Schofield, general manger at EA Redwood Shores, has dropped a few details on the game’s setting, says CVG.
The game takes place three weeks before Isaac hops on the delightful Ishimura, the ship that the first Dead Space game takes place in. You’ll start off on a planet inhabited by people…and then things’ll get freaky. It seems that you will play as a couple of people in the game, and you’ll work to protect and save a heroine. Great.
Perhaps more interesting is the details on the weapons. Schofield said that the flamethrower is back. And some boring pistols, too. But perhaps the most interesting tidbit comes from Nintendo Dpad, mentioning the Rivet Gun. It seems that you’ll actually have to twist the Wii Remote to aim and fire your Rivet Blades to dismember your enemies. Now that sounds fun.
