Dead Space Aftermath animated film coming January 24

According to Eurogamer, the animated feature Dead Space Aftermath with hit Blu-ray and DVD on January 24, 2011.

The direct-to-retail film will detail the events of the first-responder mission to the Aegis VII. The animated film is being developed by Starz/Film Roman, the same folks behind the animated Dead Space: Downfall and Dante’s Inferno: An Animated Epic. Voice talent includes sci-fi media folks Christopher Judge of Stargate SG-1 fame, and Peter Woodward, best known for his work on Babylon 5 and Fringe.

If you missed Downfall, a double pack featuring both films will be available as well. The films will make a nice compliment to Dead Space 2, which hits PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on January 25. Publisher Electronic Arts just announced that a demo for the game will hit on December 21.
