Concord Discord and spaces to connect with the community

Keep in touch.

Concord is a hero shooter from Firewalk Studios that throws you into an intriguing universe where the characters you play as, Freegunners, are called upon to take on rival crews as they dart about the stars in search of glory.

With 16 characters to play as and master, and many maps and game modes to compete in, there’s a lot to get your head around in this title. With early beta codes and other promotions being distributed by the developer through various channels as well, it can feel a little overwhelming when trying to get into the game and find a solid group to play alongside as try to complete challenges, unlock new skins, and rise through the ranks as a team. That’s why the Discord server and other communities are so important.

You can join the official Concord Discord server right here at any time. This is where the majority of the community has come together to discuss the game and get into teams using voice chat over their computers or phones instead of in-game.

I prefer using Discord for communication in team-based games because it’s more reliable than getting systems to speak to each other across Steam and PlayStation. If you’re looking for a solid group to play a few matches with and coordinate your strategies as you go, this is the place to do it.

The Concord subreddit is the second-best place to find other players and chat about the game. While you can certainly try to link up with other players for a few matches here, I believe the Discord server is better for that. The subreddit is where to go if you want to keep up to date with news, patches, hotfixes, and the silly things the community is sharing with each other.

As the game evolves, I’d expect to see the sort of crazy plays that are worthy of an esport posted on the game’s subreddit. Outside of those videos and news, though, the Discord server is where you’ll want to be for everything else.

The official Concord Twitter account is the one to follow to keep up to date with any upcoming server maintenance or errors. It’s also the first place that news will be shared, but I like to stick to the game’s subreddit for that so I can chat with other players about how it’ll impact the game.

Twitter is the best place for direct communication from the game’s developer. If you want to stay up to the minute with what’s happening with the game, then track it daily to ensure you don’t miss a single thing.
