Welcome back to Comments of the Week! I’m Perro, and I’ll be your host for the best comments of the week from 9/11-9/17! This past week has been an interesting one, given that Nintendo’s latest Direct stream showed off more of Xenoblade 2, Mario Odyssey, as well as other goodies. With great announcements comes great comments, and I’m here to present you all with my personal picks of the best comments this past week! Join me now as we take a look at the tears, the joy, the lewd and insane, brought to you here with a little Metal Gear-inspired twist!

Preface

Shitposting has changed.
It’s still about nations, ideologies, and ethnicities, but it’s also an endless series of memes and pun battling, fought by keyboard mercenaries and machines that somehow made it past the “Am I a Robot?” verification test. That verification test is complete bullshit by the way.

Comments – and its consumption of life, have become a well-lubed amiibo that all in the Dtoid community have shoved up their own asses at one point or another.

For me personally, I don’t have any more tears to shed, but I have plenty of faps to give, for building the future and keeping the shitposting alive are one and the same thing.

Whelp, looks like that’s all I have for this week! I hope you all enjoyed this installment of Comments of the Week, and if you like CotW remember to comment, like, and subscribe, and to learn more about everything Comments of the Week, head on over to IGN for the latest and greatest up-to-date news on everything Comments of the Week.
