What does Green Diamond and Red Diamond mean in College Football 25 Dynasty mode

Hope for a gem to avoid getting bust

When you complete scouting a prospect in College Football 25‘s Dynasty mode, there may be the occasional appearance of small gems or diamonds on your screen.

Scouting in Dynasty mode has many mechanics you need to understand perfectly in order to get the best possible talents. You can get the first glimpse of a prospect’s potential stats, abilities, and development trait. While these attributes are self-explanatory, the emergence of red and green diamonds can be confusing.

What does a Green Diamond mean in College Football 25 Dynasty mode?

If you find the bright green gem appearing after 100% scouting a prospect, then you have managed to scout a “gem”. In simpler words, a 3* prospect is actually a 4* talent if he turns out to have a Green Diamond under his name. This is applicable across all star-ratings.

The presence of a Green Diamond means that a prospect is a bigger talent than what’s suggested by the star rating of that prospect. This way, you can discover some hidden talents that might not look attractive on the Recruitment board. In my experience, discovering a Green Diamond is purely random.

What does a Red Diamond mean in College Football 25 Dynasty mode?

The Red Diamond appears in the same way as a Green Diamond, and it means that you have scouted a bust. In simpler words, a Bust 3* prospect is actually a 2* talent. This is applicable across all star-ratings.

Now here’s some advice – a Bust doesn’t necessarily mean that a prospect is bad. It just means that the scouted attributes won’t be as good, but there’s still talent. A 5* Bust is still a 4* talent – someone who will be good for almost all high school programs in College Football 25. So even if you scout a bust, make sure to check the other details like their attributes and abilities.
