Claim your free Way of Winter cosmetic – Once Human

Once Human has seen a massive drop in its player base since its launch, but I expect we’ll see a decent resurgence once The Way of Winter launches on October 17, 2024. Speaking of the Way of Winter, you can claim a free cosmetic hat if you log into the game and turn your scenario reminder on. Here’s how.

How to claim your free cosmetic hat in Once Human

All you have to do is follow the prompts. Simply log into your Once Human account and go into any active character you currently own. If you don’t have a character on an active server, you may be able to claim this hat from Eternaland.

I have an active character in the Prismverse’s Clash, so when I logged on a prompt appeared on my screen. Follow the prompt by hitting the Y key and then click the “Enable Sign-Up Reminder” button.

And that’s all you have to do for now.

In case you don’t get the prompt, you can also visit the Northern Tour event page (F3), click the sign-up button on the left side of your screen, and then enable the reminder from there.

And that’s it, once The Way of Winter launches, you’ll get this free hat — a cute, pink beanie — to keep your ears warm while we figure out how to make a campfire.

Not that there’s been any indication that we’ll be able to craft campfires, but I’m sure we’ll discover some way to keep ourselves warm in the snow.
