Finding the elusive Cannibals Hold dungeon

Diablo 4′s Cannibals Hold is unique compared to other dungeons in the game. You can find most dungeons by looking for the portcullis dungeon icon on the world map, but Cannibals Hold does not appear this way. In fact, the dungeon is technically a mini-dungeon located in a cellar.

Make no mistake, Cannibals Hold hides much more value than your typical cellar. Due to its hard to find location, we’ve put together this Cannibals Hold location and dungeon guide for Diablo 4.

Cannibals Hold dungeon location

Though you can’t find it on the world map, Cannibals Hold is located in the Untamed Scarps region in the Dry Steppes.

The fastest way to reach the dungeon is by teleporting to the Jirandai Waypoint. From here, the dungeon is just to east. If you have trouble finding it, follow the red line on our map above.

As you near the area, the cellar icon will appear on your mini-map. Once you reach the location, it will appear as Cannibals Hold.

Cannibals Hold dungeon guide for Diablo 4

Not surprisingly, the Cannibals Hold dungeon is home to…well…cannibals. Upon entering the dungeon you will see it’s quite small, and the only objective here is to purge the cellar. As you traverse the quick dungeon, groups of Cannibals and Maniacs will attack you.

If you hold off on killing all of the pre-existing enemies in the dungeon, a glitch will sometimes occur that causes them to keep spawning infinitely. This makes this dungeon uniquely valuable to run.

Rewards for Cannibals Hold in Diablo 4

While the dungeon doesn’t reward a specific Aspect like most do, it is still rewarding in its own way. If you are able to trigger the infinite spawning glitch, you can very quickly and easily gain lots of experience. You can also get a heaping amount of Legendary and Sacred item drops simply from killing so many enemies in mass.

Blizzard recently deployed a fix in attempt to remove this glitch, but it appears it is still sometimes occurring specifically in Cannibals Hold.
