Can I play PS2 games on PS4?

PS2 games on PS4 would be amazing for retro fans of past PlayStation titles. Being able to check out Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Trilogy, Ratchet & Clank, and Tekken 5 on PS4 sounds wonderful.

There is a limited number of compatible PS2 games on PS4

There are many different PS2 HD collections available on the PS4. Kingdom Hearts, Devil May Cry, and the Final Fantasy series, among other PS2 games, are available through PS4 HD remasters.

Additionally, there are some PS3 HD collections like the Ratchet & Clank series and Sly Cooper franchise that can be streamed through PlayStation Plus Premium. PS1 and PSP games are available through PlayStation Plus Premium as well.
