Terminus and Liberty Falls are the two new round-based Zombies maps. Terminus Island takes players to the Philippine Sea, where a U.S. Naval base has taken over. Here, you’ll get to choose between various Operators, including Grigori Weaver, Elizabeth Grey, Mackenzie ‘Mac’ Carver, and Maya Aguinaldo

The Black Ops 6 Zombies Terminus Reveal trailer first unveiled a few POIs on this map, starting with an outbreak at a prison. Then, it carries on with a water-based environment, where Operators will need to survive on a boat.

Liberty Falls is a town in West Virginia filled with endless amounts of zombies. It’s a much smaller map in comparison to Terminus, making it easier for new Zombies players.

As you knock out each round, you can participate in Main and Side Quests for extra challenges and rewards. There will also be new Easter Eggs to discover, just like any other Zombies entry would. Typically, players were left in the dark when it came to finding these hidden secrets. However, the in-season promises to bring a unique guided mode to pinpoint them easily. While the Side Quests are mainly reserved for fun adventures and free rewards, the Main storyline takes you through some of the most daunting challenges.

If you need help getting started with the Main Quests, we have some guides on unlocking them with our Liberty Fall’s Jet Gun and Terminus’ Beamsmasher guide. Obtaining these Wonder Weapons is the first step to these narratives, where you must use them to uncover various items.

The more you progress further in Zombies mode, the more you can collect the two currencies: Essence and Salvage. The former has been a part of most iterations, allowing you to unlock doors, weapons, and upgrades. Salvages will appear as piles of junk from fallen enemies, which will then provide access to Ammo Mods, higher rarities, and building materials. Visit the Arsenal to acquire these buffs, and make sure to look around fallen zombies for more Salvage parts.

Elements like Perks, Field Upgrades, and Ammo Mods can be significantly enhanced with Augments. Each item offers six Augments to unlock, boosting its performance through research objectives. The GobbleGums will also make their epic return, which is currently available for purchase in the Vault Edition. You can also acquire the GobbleGums for free by simply playing the game.

In addition to these upgrades, two new items will make their debut in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies. The Mutant Injection support ability gives you the power of the elite Mangler. Though it’s only temporary, you’ll have enough time to deal a hefty amount of damage to nearby foes. The Melee Macchiato is the other new item for Zombies, sending zombies flying with one punch. Use an Augment with this perk to gain instant reloads from Hidden Impact and healing abilities from Vampirism.

The Call of Duty Mode Prep post also revealed a change to the Zombies’ HUD. Now, you’ll have the option to turn off mechanics like the mini-map, Score Feed, and medals.

Similar to MW3 Zombies, you can Exfil out the mode once it’s time to go home. This tactic will be perfect for the higher rounds when it almost seems impossible to push through. Furthermore, if you want to pick up where you left off, you can save and quit the match. This feature has never been done before, and it’s definitely a welcomed addition for solo players.

The Black Ops 6 storyline is set more than five years after Black Ops Cold War. Before this, the main playable crew was imprisoned under the orders of Edward Richtofen. Now, the team plots to escape and seek revenge on the notorious doctor in BO6.
