What you see before you is one of the many classy, high-quality, epileptic-fit-inducing pieces offered by Maxwell Silverball, a division of M.T. Maxwell Furniture Company. What makes this piece of post-modernity any better than that Ikea crap? Not much, except that it’s considerably more expensive, considerably more awesome, and made from retro pinball cabinets.
Don’t give me that look — just because pinball machines predate the Atari 2600 and Jesus doesn’t make them any less awesome. If Tommy wasn’t a hardcore gamer, I don’t know who was. He was deaf, dumb, and blind for Crissakes! And if you don’t know who Tommy is, you need to leave.
In any case, if you have at least $2200 burning a hole in your pocket, then Maxwell Silverball can provide you with the vintage pinball table, cocktail bar, or shelf of your choice. And if you live in Virginia, then these beautific visions are coming to a furniture show near you.
On a slightly-related note, I didn’t realize vintage pinball machines were so risque. Check out the photo gallery for more of my favorites.
