Since you can choose which BTD banner you roll on, Iā€™ll show you the best meta brawlers to roll for. Save up your gems and then go wild on rolls when you see these, or use your pity to get them. Hereā€™s my ultimate Brawl Tower Defense unit tier list.

Best Brawl Tower Defense Units Tier List

Iā€™ll be rating Brawl Tower Defense units from best to worst across S-Tier to D-Tier. The higher Tiers will usually be about the best Legendaries and Mythics and how to use them. B-Tier is all about the best Epics, and the lowest Tiers are units you shouldnā€™t really worry about. Each Tier is ordered so that the better units are higher, so I highly recommend using your pity on the highest-rated unit in each Tier.

S Tier BTD Units

  • Griff (Legendary) ā€“ Currently, Griff is the only farming unit in the game and a must-have for any loadout. He’s a crucial unit to bring into each level which is why I ranked him above Kenji.
  • Kenji (Secret) ā€“ If you manage to get Kenji with his abysmal roll chances below 0.1%, then heā€™s a strong contender for the number one spot. Slap a high-tier trait on him, and any loadout will do wonders for you. Heā€™s just above the rest stat-wise.
  • Leon (Mythic) ā€“ Iā€™ve been debating whether Leon is better than Nita, and they both have advantages going for them. I chose Leon over Nita for the third spot just because of his slightly better stats, but theyā€™re both great.
  • Nita (Legendary) ā€“ The second-best legendary in the game and part of the current meta. A must-have in addition to Griff for higher difficulties.

A Tier BTD Units

  • Spike (Mythic) ā€“ Spike has superb AOE damage with great range. His speed is what didnā€™t get him a spot into S-Tier, but heā€™s superb if you donā€™t have S-Tier units yet.
  • Amber (Mythic) ā€“ Her high damage and fast attacks have carried me in a lot of Insane levels. Iā€™ll have to play a bit more with her in my loadout to see if sheā€™s S-Tier worthy.
  • Sandy (Legendary) – Iā€™ve yet to play more with Sandy around my loadout, but so far, sheā€™s been doing okay on Insane. Her Legendary stats keep her in A-Tier, but some Epics can compete with her, and sheā€™s for sure the least powerful Legendary.
  • Frank (Epic) ā€“ So Frank slaps as an Epic but I think thatā€™s because they buffed him a lot because you need to pay Robux for him.

B Tier BTD Units

  • Adgar (Epic) ā€“ Itā€™s a tough spot in B-Tier as Epics are split for the top Epic spot since Edgar, Kit, and Dynamike are all so good. I prefer Edgar because heā€™s the best starter out of them.
  • Kit (Epic) ā€“ Kit used to be my favorite Epic until I started playing around more with Edgar. His stats are just so effective as an Epic and comparable to Sandy as a Legendary.
  • Gran Mike (Epic) ā€“ Some of the best AOE damage in the Epic rarity.
  • Gale/Ice Man (Epic) ā€“ Gale does a great job as a support unit, but there are much better support units in the game once you roll Legendaries and Mythics.

C Tier BTD Units

  • Jecky (Rare) ā€“ Jecky actually does a great job in terms of AOE damage until you start getting some Epics, Mythics, and Legendaries. Sheā€™ll carry you through the early game.
  • Colt (Rare) ā€“ Colt is one of the best rares in the game, along with Jecky, but replace him once youā€™ve rolled some units from higher above.

D Tier BTD Units

  • Mortiz (Epic) ā€“ Never roll if you see a banner with Mortiz, just wait for the refresh as heā€™s not only the worst Epic but also not a great unit overall. Great range, but everything else sucks.
  • El Primo (Rare) ā€“ Just your standard DPS unit as youā€™re starting out and have no better units to take.
  • Shelli (Rare) ā€“ Shelliā€™s similar to El Primo, where youā€™ll probably have her equipped in the first hour of the game until you roll for something better.

Thatā€™s it for my best Brawl Tower Defense unit tier list. Stay tuned to Destructoid for more BTD guides.
