After reading our review, Electronic Arts have announced that they will be bringing Boogie to both the PlayStation 2 and the Nintendo DS.

Electronic Arts are touting “the first 3D gameplay” on the Nintendo DS (Super Mario 64 DS says “hi”) with their handheld version of Boogie. The game will feature brand new games modes, including some that can be experienced in 3D by wearing the special glasses that come packaged with the game. A long car ride plus 3D glasses sounds like a recipe for vomit, if you ask me.

What’s so special about the PlayStation 2 version of Boogie is a little hazier — you can sing, you can dance, you can record your own voice and make music videos with the music video creator. Got all of that? Super.

Both games will feature similar soundtracks to the Wii version of the title, including tracks by The Jackson 5, Kool & The Gang, Britney Spears, and more. Both titles will be available at retail this holiday.
