And its beta is going on right now

That I never spotted Blade Symphony earlier is a grievous oversight on my part. I need to spend more time hunting down wonderful sword-fighting multiplayer romps and less time on unimportant things that don’t involve cutting people up.

Running on a modified version of the Source engine, Blade Symphony is all about elegant, skill-based duels with rapiers, sabers, katanas, and other tools perfect for those who appreciate stabbing and slicing. Characters come with their own unique styles and skills, and while players can unlock new gear for their combatants, these are merely cosmetic, keeping the battles tests of skill.

Since getting hot and bothered over War of the Roses and Chivalry, I’m definitely in the mood for more melee shenanigans. After its successful Kickstarter way back in 2011, Blade Symphony is now in beta, and I’m salivating at the prospect of eventually taking it for a spin.
