Black Mous Intel Locations – Warzone DMZ Guide

Players hunted and extracted Black Mous intel for various missions in past Modern Warfare 2 seasons, and now that passive upgrades are available, we must once again locate said intel and extract it. In order to narrow down our search, let’s jump in a chop top and cruise over to the burning oil refinery of Rohan towards the north side of the map, just below Taraq Village. Here’s how to find all the Black Mous intel you need.

Alright, we’re at Rohan, now what?

Now that we have gotten close to Rohan, notice that it is crawling with NPCs. However, NPCs are not the only threat out here. Other operators are going to be searching for the same pieces of intel, so stay frosty and keep those heads on a swivel. The buildings, the blind corners, and the tight areas we’ll travel through lead to instant action, and whoever pulls the trigger first wins. Now that we are loaded and ready, let’s start searching.

The Northwest End – To the Medical Tents

If we approach from the northwest side of Rohan, we should be able to search the first few locations without raising any alarms. There are several smaller outbuildings and guard shacks to search right at the edge of Rohan Oil. Each of these buildings is a potential spawn point for the Intel. While the actual locations of the Intel change every time you spawn in, they generally will be found in these buildings.

We’re looking for a folder, typically on a bookshelf, out in plain sight. Start searching at the westernmost outbuilding and work east towards the medical tents. If we get through the five outbuildings and still have not found what we are looking for, we will continue the search in the medical tents and surrounding buildings.

Medical Tents – Can they save us?

Looking around from the last guard shack, spot the medical tents. There are several NPCs here, and more often than not, this is where the sneaking ends. It’s time to go loud and fast. Speed loot the area and move out from the open; even the weakest weapons can shoot through tents. We will be exposed the entire time.

As we rip through the tents, remember that the Black Mous intel sits in plain sight. Working through the tents, we’ll encounter several loot boxes, an ammo refill station occasionally, and, if we’re lucky, a buy station. If there’s still no sign of the Black Mous intel, don’t despair. At the very north end of Rohan, we can find an ambulance with some tables by it, with netting over the top. This is a newer location for the intel to drop, but it is very likely we will find it there if we haven’t yet.

But Wait! There’s More!

As our team rips through the tents, we can see one more building in this area. This is a rare spot for the intel to drop, but it happens. If we still do not have all the intel we need, we can look through this building and sometimes find one lying around. After we clear all the buildings, it is time to roll out. We will exfil back out the way we came in, get back in our vehicle, and get to an exfil.

Exfil and Reflection

The buildings and tents we cleared are the hot spots for the Black Mous Intel to spawn in. Infiling through the outbuildings keeps us silent and safe for the longest time, and exfiling the same way allows us to get back in our vehicle.
