After a long delay, BioShock 2 add-on “Protector Trials” is finally coming to PC on March 14.

The single-player add-on offers a series of challenges, where a player takes on control of an Alpha Series Big Daddy in order to protect a Little Sister. The game’s locations aren’t new, instead reworked versions of the maps found on the game disc. Good news is that the add-on is entirely free for PC users, coming along with a game patch that fixes things like a mouse sensitivity issue players had reported.

So what about the story-driven “Minerva’s Den” content? 2K says it’s “still working” on it, and will “be making a similar announcement” closer to release.
