Best Soukaku build in Zenless Zone Zero – Drive Discs, Bangboo, and team compositions

It's time to break the ice.

The elite Section 6 Faction knows a thing or two about combat, utilizing their skills to keep those deadly Ethereals at bay. Fortunately, it’s pretty easy to get one of its members, thanks to the Eridu Frontier event. So, if you’ve unlocked this character, we’re here to show you the best build for Soukaku in Zenless Zone Zero.

What is the best build for Soukaku in ZZZ?

You can place the following materials on Soukaku to improve her performance in ZZZ:

  • W-Engine:
    • Bashful Demon
  • Drive Discs:
    • Polar Metal 2-Piece set
    • Hormone Punk 4-Piece set
    • Swing Jazz 2-Piece set

The Bashful Demon is the best W-Engine for Soukaku due to its compatibility with her Ice and Support abilities. In return, you’ll deal 15 percent more Ice DMG, perfect for enemies with this weakness. The Bashful Demon also boosts ATK by two percent for the entire team when using a Special Attack.

As for Soukaku’s Drive Discs, you have a few suitable choices. If you want to boost her Ice DMG further, equip the Polar Metal 2-Piece set. However, since the Bashful Demon already offers this enhancement, you can opt for the Swing Jazz and Hormone Punk sets.

The 2-Piece Swing Jazz helps significantly with Energy Regen, increasing it by 20 percent. This material allows Soukaku to unleash more brutal strikes, like Special Attacks. The Hormone Punk 2-Piece set also enhances general ATK by 10 percent, followed by another 25 percent boost with the 4-piece.

If you favor ATK and Energy Regen more, use Swing Jazz and Hormone Punk together. Alternatively, players can take advantage of her icy powers with Polar Metal and utilize one of these two sets with it. It all depends on your playstyle, so choose the best Soukaku build for you.

Best Bangboo for Soukaku in Zenless Zone Zero

To go along Soukaku’s Support role, use Bangboos that cater to this skill. In particular, the A rank Exploreboo offers buffs for HP, Shield Generation, and Energy Regen. The Avocaboo is another superb choice, increasing HP Recovery and providing three more charges for the Active Skill.

If you equip a second Ice wielder to the team, choose Sharkboo or Penguinboo. Both characters present Anomaly Buildup boosts for the Bangboo Chain Attack.

Best Soukaku team compositions in Zenless Zone Zero

Since Soukaku has a passive skill for two ice wielders on the team, I recommend equipping Agents like Lycaon or Ellen Joe with her. In fact, you can have an entire team made up of Ice to get some of the best DPS in Zenless Zone Zero.

On the other hand, you can attach Soukaku with two characters of the same Faction to get specific buffs. For example, Nicole and Anby can assist her with offensive and defensive tactics. Additionally, Section 6’s Miyabi will likely be another good choice for Soukaku, but she isn’t currently playable in Zenless Zone Zero.
