Neutral and gray doesn't have to be boring

With over three billion visits, itā€™s safe to say that Dress to Impress is one of the most popular dress-up games in gaming. There are endless themes that allow you to flaunt your creativity, all with plenty of outfits to come up with.Ā

Some themes are more difficult than others, though, and Acubi is one of them. This style can be tough to get right if you donā€™t know what to do. Weā€™re here to help, and to give you some of the best outfit ideas for this theme.

What is Acubi fashion?

Acubi is a style originating in Korea that mixes basic pieces with Y2K styling. Neutral colors, specifically blacks, whites, and grays are one of the keys to this style. Layering is also popular in the fashion.

This fashion remains casual yet elevated from normal clothes. It even occasionally mixes some elements from cyberpunk into the style. Itā€™s very fun, and you have a lot of room for creativity.

For the first look, start with the baggie jeans and make sure to toggle them to cargos. Baggy clothing is one of the most popular types of Acubi pieces. Change their pattern to this patchwork, which keeps it interesting but remains in the neutral palette.

Next, layer the t-shirt and heart tank top, and match the colors so it looks like one top. Color the top gray and the heart a deep red. This adds a nice pop of color while remaining neutral.Ā Then, add the sweatshirt from the male section and toggle it to just sleeves. This will give the shirt a baggy look.

Add a beanie, toggle the cat ears off, and you can either color this black or match the pattern on the jeans. You can use any boots to complete this look, and then add the heart choker for that final touch.

Hair and makeup is up to you, although itā€™s best to choose a more natural look than a heavily made-up one.Ā

The second outfit starts with the moto jacket colored in black and gray. Make sure youā€™re up to date on all the DTI codes so you have this piece to choose from. Then, add the pleated skirt and color it a neutral khaki with a black belt. The metal should be gray as well.

Stack the black combat boots with the platform Mary Janes, also in black, to give the boots an elevated look. Add a beanie to this look too, in dark gray or the patchwork pattern. Add the goggles on top for a cyberpunk element without being too over-the-top.

Again, hair and makeup are whatever you think goes best with the look. Iā€™d keep the hair color a natural tone to match the neutral color palette stable.
