On one hand, you’ll have all the required skills to help you shoot those bombers from both three-point and mid-range zones. On the other, you won’t have the advantage of a big build, but dunking is essential to use the space. With that in mind, let’s take a look at what can be a really meta build for now to get your MyCareer up and running.

Best NBA 2K25 PG build potential overall ratings

Among all the builds I have tried and tested, this one by content creator Joe Knows really suited my playstyle. While I did have to adjust to the smaller height, the build starts kicking in once you get the core attributes boosted with VC. Let’s take a look at the build’s metrics.

  • Pass Accuracy: 85
  • Ball Handle: 92
  • Speed with Ball: 91

When you start out with this ISO Specialist build, many of your options will be pretty limited. While your key scoring options are driving dunks and three-point shots, the mid-range opens up a lot more as you level it up with attributes.

Driving Dunk at 96 is extremely expensive, but you can get a HoF Posterizer badge. The same goes for the 91 three-point, which gets you the Gold Shifty Shooter and Set Shot Specialist badges. 92 Ball Handle brings Gold Handles for Days and Unpluckable, while 91 Speed with Ball means you get the HoF Lighting Launch.

I followed Joe’s recommendations driving the build, and it has been a really fun experience. The starting was rough (expected) in NBA 2K25, but you start performing a lot better once you get the three-point shots, driving dunk, and speed with ball ratings up.
