Best mounts to use in Minecraft Legends

Find the mount that works for you

Recommended Videos

Minecraft Legends may be a strategy game, but youā€™ll still find cool mounts to uncover in both the Campaign and Versus modes. You will have to work to unlock them, but once you find any mount, it’s yours for the duration of the game.

That said, there are four distinct mounts in Minecraft Legends. Each of these can be given unique skins, but their abilities will remain the same. Naturally, you may be wondering which mount is best. There isnā€™t an easy answer for this, but we can help you decide which mount youā€™d prefer to use.

What each mount does in Minecraft Legends.

Regardless of skins, mounts will fall into one of four categories:

Horse: This is the mount youā€™ll start every game with. It has okay speed and can jump a decent height, so even if you never find a new mount, a Horse will still come in clutch.

Big Beak: These birds excel at jumping high, and they can glide once theyā€™re airborne. If you value the ability to leap from high mountains and traverse great distances in the sky, this should be your go-to.

Regal Tiger: The tiger is the fastest of all the mounts, but it has the lowest jump. For aggressive players, you canā€™t ask for a better mount than this. The tiger also helps Campaign players traverse the map faster to find resources.

Brilliant Beetle: The beetle is the slowest of the mounts, but that doesnā€™t mean you should sleep on it. Not only can it glide like the Big Beak, but it can climb over walls as well. Additionally, the beetle is your best mount for crossing water.

Which mount should you use in Minecraft Legends?

Because each mount has pros and cons, the choice of ā€œbestā€ is subjective. That said, I personally recommend the Regal Tiger and Brilliant Beetle. You canā€™t argue with the tiger’s raw speed, especially if youā€™re competing against other players. Meanwhile, the beetle is especially helpful in the Campaign mode, as you can freely climb walls and easily uncover secrets. The beetleā€™s only downside is that your summoned minions wonā€™t necessarily be able to follow you, so you canā€™t stealthily climb an enemy baseā€™s walls with your army.

That said, thereā€™s no bad mount choice in Minecraft Legends. Whether you win or lose wonā€™t come down to your mount, but rather your skill as a player. In other words, use your favorite mount and donā€™t look back.
