Best Grace build in Zenless Zone Zero – Best Drive Discs, W-Engines, and team compositions

Get ready to shock your enemies to the core!

Her ability to apply Shock to targets at low intervals and massively buff its effect makes Grace both the best Anomaly agent in Zenless Zone Zero and a cornerstone in many of the game’s best electric teams.

But the above can also make her one of the game’s trickiest to build. After all, should you go all out on Anomaly Mastery and Proficiency or pay close attention to other stats? To help you energize the battlefield. here’s the best Grace build in Zenless Zone Zero, as well as a few teams sure to allow her to showcase all of her expertise.

The best W-Engines for Grace in Zenless Zone Zero

Like with all S-Rankers, the best W-Engine for Grace in Zenless Zone Zero is her signature Fusion Compiler. Apart from its 684 base attack and 24% PEN Ratio values at level 60 (the latter which affects Anomaly DMG), the S-Ranker earns its spot by providing her with both a 12% ATK boost and the ability to get 25 Anomaly Proficiency per Special or EX Special performed (can be triggered three times for a 75 increase).

The latter is the star here, as Grace’s low-cost and easy-to-combo Special will allow you to trigger all separately accounted stacks almost instantaneously. All of the values above are related to the W-Engine at one star.

If her signature is not an option for you, the BP-exclusive Electro-Lip Gloss will be my main pick. The engine will offer a 594 base attack increase and 75 Anomaly Proficiency at level 60. When equipped, the A-Ranker will also allow Grace to deal 15% more damage to targets afflicted by Shock while also getting a 10% ATK buff as long as there’s an enemy affected by an attribute anomaly on the field. All values above are related to the engine at one star.

Best F2P W-Engine

For those who have yet to get any of our top picks and thanks to its 75 Anomaly Proficiency boost at level 60, Rainforest Gourmet is the best F2P W-Engine for Grace at one star. If you can enhance it to at least three stars, Weeping Gemini will then become my main F2P pick.

When at the said rarity, Weeping Gemini will allow Grace to get a 38 Anomaly Proficiency boost after an enemy is affected by an Attribute Anomaly. The effect can be triggered up to four times for a 152 boost, with each stack being calculated separately. Grace will lose stacks when its related enemy is either defeater or recovers from stun.

Best Drive Discs for Grace in ZZZ

As an Anomaly main/sub-DPS, Grace will need all of the Anomaly Proficiency and Mastery you can get. To provide her with just that, I consider the best Drive Discs for her in ZZZ to be a 4-piece Freedom Blues paired with a 2-piece Swing Jazz.

While the 4-piece set will boost Grace’s Anomaly Proficiency by 30 and allow her to reduce the Electric Buildup Resistance of foes by 20% after hitting them with her EX Special Attack, Swing Jazz’s 20% Energy Regen boost will increase the availability of her EX Special and guarantee that she will always have it at hand. Pairing Freedom Blues with either a 2-piece Puffer Electro (for an 8% PEN Ratio boost) or Thunder Metal (for a 10% Electric DMG increase) can also work if you are looking to double down on damage.

To further boost Grace’s ability to enable Shock, as well as her damage, I recommend that you go with Anomaly Proficiency for your fourth disc partition, Electric DMG for the fifth, and Anomaly Mastery for the sixth. Substat-wise, focus on Anomaly Proficiency above all else. Trying to reach at least 40% CRIT Rate and 80/100% CRIT DMG can also help if you want to increase her non-effect-based damage, although doing so is not a must.

The best Grace teams in Zenless Zone Zero

As a shock-focused sub-DPS, the best team for Grace in Zenless Zone Zero features Anton as its main DPS and Rina as its support. When in the field, this team will allow you to fully use Grace’s kit thanks to Anton’s ability to gain buffs based on and increase the instances of Shock Damage. Rina, on the other hand, will allow you to boost the effect’s duration by three seconds and the Electric DMG of the whole party by 10% for as long as a shocked enemy is on the field.

If you don’t have Rina, I recommend using Anby in her place, as she can apply similar levels of Anomaly buildup, all while dealing massive amounts of daze through Thunderbolt and her EX Special Attack. Using Koleda as a Stun unit can also work great, as she will offer a game-changing up to 70% Chain Attack DMG buff to the party.

Which Bangboo should you choose?

As all Grace teams will revolve around the Shock anomaly effect, its ability to apply massive amounts of Electric Anomaly Buildup makes Plugboo the best pick for all of them. Thanks to its ability to perform the same role as our top pick, albeit at a lower output, the A-Ranker Electroboo will be my second choice.
