In College Football 25‘s Dynasty mode, the ability to upgrade coaches is immensely useful in both the short and long run.
Unlocking different abilities with the help of XP helps determine a coach’s archetype. The coach archetype, in turn, decides how he manages different aspects of the school’s program. While every ability has certain uses, some of them are outright better than the rest.
Top coach ability upgrades to unlock in College Football 25’s Dynasty mode
When picking between the best abilities, you’re not restricted to a single archetype. In fact, all three core archetypes have some handy abilities that should be prioritized.
Ability name | Arcehtype | Benefits |
Always be Crootin’ | Recruiter | Increased starting interest (available position-wise) |
Magnetic Personality | Recruiter | Gain additional interest for every 10 hours spent (available position-wise) |
Lasting Impression | Recruiter | Bonus interest (position-wise) for every the player has taken before visiting you |
Star Maker | Talent Developer | Starting (position) will gain XP faster |
Put In Work | Motivator | (Position wise) players get an off-season training boost |
Last Dance | Strategist | Chance at Instant commit when offering scholarships as their top school |
Hometown Discount | Program Builder | Recruits from your Primary Pipeline gain extra influence boosts |
CEO | Dream School | Chance at Instant commit when offering scholarship as their top school |
Limitless | Architect | Chance to increase a random skill cap when leveling up |
Locked In | Motivator | (Position wise) players start the 4th quarter “hot” in close games |
One of my favorite abilities on this list is the Always be Crootin’, which is such a useful one to help improve your squad. The additional scouting hours are extremely helpful when it comes to drafting prospects. Similarly, the Star Maker ability is great to develop your athletes quicker in College Football 25.
Ultimately, you can’t have all the abilities as unlocking them requires XP, and the cost isn’t the same. Make sure to prioritize those that fit your style of management better.
