Top 10 Best Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies weapons

Wonder Weapons aren't the only good ones...

Your choice of a weapon ultimately determines the fate of a Zombies round, either leading to chaos or making you feel like an undead-killing boss. Now that I’ve become familiar with the game, I’ve come across guns that lean more towards the latter.

I’m talking about the tools that help you dominate the higher rounds or even the formidable Easter Egg Main Quests. So, if you want to ease the stress of this action-packed mode, here are the best weapons to use in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies.

Mustang and Sally (GS45 Pistol)

The legendary Mustang and Sally, a fan favorite from The Walking Dead x Call of Duty Zombies crossover, returns in Black Ops 6 with its explosive power. Starting with the GS45 Pistol, a potent weapon in its own right, you’ll gradually upgrade to the top-tier dual pistols of Mustang and Sally. This power-packed duo will make you feel like a force to be reckoned with, especially during the higher rounds.

Wielding this bad boy feels like you have the power of a tiny grenade launcher. Almost every zombie will blow out of existence, and it’s helped me more than a few times with the numerous zombie hordes.

C9 (SMG)

When the Mystery Box doesn’t consistently deliver, you can rely on the Wall Buy weapons. The C9, available at both Liberty Falls and Terminus, is a dependable choice. I’ve experimented with other weapons, but some don’t match the reliability of this SMG.

If there’s one thing you need in Zombies, it has to be fast movements, which is where the C9 comes into play. The weapon excels in mobility, quick reloads, and easy-to-use handling. It’ll usually get you out of a pinch, primarily after it’s been Pack-a-Punched.

ASG-89 (Shotgun)

Every time I delve into the Zombie forums, the ASG-89 Shotgun is a hot topic. Initially, I was skeptical about it since I don’t typically wield shotguns in Zombies, but now I finally get it. Its first use was a revelation, showcasing its robustness and the ease with which it dispatches hordes of zombies. This shotgun instills a sense of confidence, making even the most challenging rounds feel like a breeze.

Thanks to the ASG-89’s significant bullet capacity, you can spam your shots to eliminate massive undead groups. The shotgun has even proved its worth in the challenging Terminus Easter Egg showdown, depleting the health of its frightening boss at an instant rate.

Ray Gun (Wonder Weapon)

Is it really a surprise to see the Ray Gun make it to this best BO6 Zombies weapon list? Of course not. I mean, come on. It’s probably been on almost every Zombies iteration’s list thus far, and rightfully so. This Wonder Weapon is all about power, bringing down zombies with its high-damaging blast.

The first time I ever got the Ray Gun in Black Ops 6 Zombies was the first time I finally reached the last stage of the Terminus Easter Egg. It works wonders against bosses while also keeping control of immense zombie groups.

XM4 (Assault Rifle)

Like many on this list, the XM4 is an exceptional Wall Buy weapon. As an assault rifle, it can do more damage than that of SMGs and Pistols. The gun also boasts incredible Accuracy stats to get those nice-and-easy headshot kills.

The XM4 has pretty decent mobility, too, which can make it feel like a submachine gun. Plus, you can use this assault rifle outside of Zombies, given that it makes for a great starter tool in Black Ops 6 Multiplayer.

PU-21 (LMG)

Light machine guns have always been my go-to in the world of Zombies. Since there are a ton of zombie heads to knock, you’ll need all the bullets you can get. Fortunately, the PU-21 LMG helps out with this through its extended magazine size.

Those who Pack-a-Punch it will have access to even more bullets, giving you the push you need during those last stretches. Not to mention, the PU-21 harnesses deadly firepower to achieve better damage rates.

DRI-11 Beamsmasher (Wonder Weapon)

The Beamsmasher, the latest Wonder Weapon in the Zombies universe, is already leaving a significant impression on the CoD community. Its Primary attack releases a destructive Aetheric beam of light, obliterating anything in its path. This unique ability, akin to the Aetherella Easter Egg’s heat vision, gives you a sense of superhuman power.

In addition to this damaging beam, the Beamsmasher harnesses the distinct skill to stop the enemy in their tracks. It’s not often that we get a Wonder Weapon perk like this, so it’s definitely something to take advantage of. I’ve run into so many instances where I’ve been backed into a corner, but luckily, the Beamsmasher can help stop this from happening.

Marine SP (Shotgun)

When I venture into the Terminus map, I often rely on the versatile Marine SP Shotgun. While it may not match the ASG-89 in ammo capacity, it’s still an excellent choice. With the PAP version, you can even further increase its magazine size, enhancing its effectiveness.

Many Main Quest steps often involve protecting a particular object, which is the perfect time to use a shotgun. So, if you don’t have the ASG-89 on hand, opt for the Marine SP to deal heavy damage to your opponent.

AK-74 (Assault Rifle)

The AK-74, another Assault Rifle in BO6 Zombies, is a weapon you can easily master. With its mid-to-long-range capabilities, targeting zombies will feel almost too easy. It’s a well-balanced gun, covering Firepower, Accuracy, Mobility, and Handling.

Adding upgrades to it, like PAP, high rarity, and Ammo Mods, also makes it much more deadlier than it already is. Furthermore, you can buy it from the Wall Buys during higher rounds to unlock one with Rare or Legendary types.

Thrustodyne M23 (Jet Gun Wonder Weapon)

Similar to the Ray Gun, the Jet Gun gave me just the edge I needed for Liberty Fall’s grand finale Easter Egg. It’s all thanks to its ability to suck zombies up, perfect for times when they get a bit too up close and personal. Then, you can use its Overheating Secondary attack to cause a devastating explosion around you.

Treyarch’s decision to bring back this Wonder Weapon was definitely the right choice. The Overheating attack was the most helpful for me when dealing with the petrifying Abomination. Using the Napalm Burst Ammo Mod with this ability turns it into one of the best weapons inĀ Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies.
