Best build for Mortis in Brawl Stars

Level up your Mortis gameplay.

Mortis in Brawl Stars is a mythic brawler who looks like a vampire and is known for his high health points and fast mobility. Yet he is mediocre when it comes to damaging output and has a very slow reload speed. His super allows him to summon a swarm of bats that can help him heal himself as well as inflict damage on his enemies.

However, just like any brawler, he also needs several buffs in the form of gadgets, gear, and star power. To help you with that, here is a comprehensive build guide for Mortis in Brawl Stars.

What is the best build for Mortis in Brawl Stars?

Gadget: Survival Shovel

A lot of Mortis players choose the ‘Survival Shovel’ gadget because this can help them counter the issue of the reload speed. Upon activation, it will double the reload speed for four seconds. Not only that, it also helps him dash quickly around the battle arena.

You also need to know that it doesn’t affect the long dash bar’s charge duration. This gadget is very important to use to eliminate the major drawback of using Mortis in Brawl Stars and also helps him to retreat himself from the campers in the bushes.

Star Power: Coiled Snake

It usually takes 4.5 seconds to charge an attack bar when you are using Mortis in Brawler. However, if you have equipped this star power, you can cut two seconds from the original time to charge an attack bar, i.e., in 2.5 seconds. This way, he can do a longer dash more frequently in the game.

This makes him extremely mobile in the game, and he can easily fend off any dangers when he needs to. Not only that, it also complements his ‘Shovel Swing’ attack, as he swings a shovel while dashing, which results in dealing damage to any enemies that are in his path.

Gear: Damage and Gadget

As mentioned before, Mortis is not great at dealing high damage to enemies. However, it can be sorted out with the damage gear, as it can deal extra 15% damage to the enemies when Mortis is below 50% health points. With this gear, you can easily navigate to the battle arena with high mobility, as well as deal extra damage to the enemies.

You should also use the gadget gear since it can increase the number of gadgets that you can use in a battle. With this, you can use ‘Survival Shovel’ gadget more and counter the reload speed issue. Ideally, any brawler should be able to use their gadget three times during a battle, but with this gear, that number can be extended to four.
