Beloved MySims series returns this fall with retro Cozy Bundle

Time to start Simming again!

The MySims universe is back and better than ever with its “retro re-release” Cozy Bundle. According to the Nintendo Partner Direct 2024, the classic MySims and Kingdom are coming to the Nintendo Switch on Nov. 19, 2024.

Just like the original version, you’ll customize adorable Sims with chic outfits and various avatars. We got a glimpse of some clothing choices, from a gothic-inspired get-up to a mighty pirate. But, if the medieval ages are more your style, you’ll undoubtedly enjoy the royal life of MySims Kingdom.

In the two stories, you’ll build towns from the ground up while also tackling puzzle challenges through exploration. This includes activities like fishing, socializing with fellow townspeople, and caring for animals. It always reminded me a bit of Animal Crossing’s gameplay but with a Sims twist.

I’m certainly happy to see the MySims series make a comeback with a re-release, especially since I’ve put so much time into it during my youth. I remember when the original launched back in 2007, bringing a refreshing new take to the The Sims franchise. Instead of characters having more realistic features, MySims avatars are inspired by a Chibi-esque art style. It creates the perfect cozy atmosphere, hence the titling of this bundle.

Pre-orders for the MySims: Cozy Bundle have already begun on the Nintendo Store. A digital bundle is available for $39.99, allowing you to pre-load the game before its Nov. 19, 2024 release.
