Battletoads trailer reveals its warts-and-all brawling action

At today’s E3 press event, Microsoft revealed the first gameplay footage for the new Battletoads title, first announced back in 2018. The Battletoads, for you younglings, were old-school video game heroes, stars of various Nintendo releases and a fuck-awful cartoon pilot you should never watch.

Of no surprise, the new Battletoads adventure is set to be a scrolling multiplayer brawler, and will see Rash, Zitz and Pimple return to patrol the streets and crack heads. Also featured in the video was the return of those controller-snappingly difficult flight sections. Here’s hoping they’ve dialed up the fairness this time around, eh?

Battletoads will be coming to Xbox Game Pass soon.
