Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable sets full release for December 17

Part 2 is ready to deliver the final two chapters.

Following up on July’s Early Access launch, a release date is now in place for the full version of Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable. You’ll be able to get up close and personal with those colossal monstrosities when the Complete Edition drops on December 17.

Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable Complete Edition will be available via the Meta Quest Store for Meta Quest 2, 3/3S, and Pro. It arrives alongside the launch of Part 2, which continues the virtual Titan slaying with the final two chapters. There’s also a new two-player co-op mode, giving players a chance to join the Scout Regiment and topple Titans together.

Check out some more first-person ODM gear movement, including an attempt at taking down the Armored Titan, in the new trailer below.

Part 1 is currently available for $4.99, and will remain at that price until Part 2 launches. Starting December 17, Part 1 will go up to $7.99 and Part 2 will be available for $12. That adds up nicely to the full cost of the Complete Edition, which will run would-be Scouts a cool $19.99.

While it contains the final chapters, there’s more on the way for Attack on Titan VR beyond the 1.0 launch. UNIVRS teased some additional content for the future, including Survival Mode and a limited-time Global Challenge event that lets players work together to unlock the Thunder Spear weapon.

The fact that these VR final chapters are continuing in some way sounds a lot like Attack on Titan as a whole package! The manga and the anime are both over, but even the Final Chapters weren’t able to rest for long. The new Attack on Titan: THE LAST ATTACK compilation film recently packed those concluding chapters into one whopper of a 145-minute feature in Japan on November 8.Ā
