Oh for fu …

I don’t even know what to say anymore. In the wake of the PSN, a Japanese ISP, and several websites, we’ve got word that Sony has been hacked in yet another realm, with Sony Ericsson Canada’s online store getting broken into.

As always, personal info has been thieved, with the emails, passwords and telephone numbers of more than 2,000 customers at risk. Credit card details are, fortunately, pretty safe.

Sony’s PR just couldn’t get any worse, and while it’s true that site hacks aren’t uncommon, the sheer number of them focused on Sony is disturbing. Either the company’s considered an easy target now, or people are legitimately trying to force Sony to go down for good. Sounds insane, but this is the Internet — insanity rules unchallenged.
