Another Banjo Kazooie inspired platformer bites the dust on Wii U

As it turns out, ceasing production of your barely four-year-old console isn’t the greatest way to inspire other developers.

In addition to the beloved Yooka-Laylee, which is no longer being ported to Wii U and is likely making the move to the Switch, so too is Clive ‘N’ Wrench. Now the latter is obviously lesser known (it even had a failed Kickstarter), but it was a game that was coming to Wii U, that several community members pointed me toward, so it had some interest.

Developer Rob Wass noted that since the Wii U “likely” wasn’t a viable option, it’s been canceled, but they “definitely” want the game to appear on a Nintendo system in the future.
