Anime Reborn Unit Tier List – Update 1
Story Mode Tier List
Infinite Mode Tier List
In the tier lists above, we ranked all the units based on their overall utility across all game modes. Unit strength compared to others of the same rarity was also taken into account. For more detail on why we ranked each unit the way we did, scroll down to the unit summaries.
Support Anime Reborn Units
- Speedcart ā Speedcart is an expensive farm unit, and it is absolutely necessary for Infinite. Plus, he gives a 15% upgrade cost reduction to the first 5 units placed in his range.
- Bulba ā Bulba is a cheap money-farm unit. She is a must for any short-game mode.
- Darkbeard ā Darkbeard is one of the meta supports in Anime Reborn. He is full AoE when maxed out and slows enemies with his attacks. The only downside is that his upgrades are fairly expensive.
- Water Goddess ā Water Goddess is a range-buffing support who can also deal respectable damage against regular mobs. She is also an okayish shield-breaker.
- Ruki ā Ruki is the best legendary support unit on placement in Anime Reborn. She freezes enemies due to her passive and has pretty solid DPS.
- Killa ā Killa is a support unit with a stun and pretty good SPA. However, Ruki and Darkbeard seem to outperform him. He can also target air on max upgrades, which is very useful if you don’t have a legendary who can do that.
S+ Tier Anime Reborn Units
- Dragon Emperor ā Dragon Emperor is a meta full AoE hybrid unit with extremely high stats and also a support passive when evolved. The only downside is that grinding for him can be really annoying.
- Delta Brothers ā Delta Brothers are by far the best shield-breaker of all secret units, with a hybrid line attack and good DMG/SPA scaling passives. Plus, they have a full AoE ability (300-second cooldown), which is great for dealing with mobs.
- Twenty One ā Twenty One is full AoE (on max upgrade, she loses it but gains range) and has insane stats. Plus, she is a hill unit and can literally solo-carry you in most modes. It’s definitely one of the most meta units in Anime Reborn.
- King Rimura ā King Rimura is pretty solid for Infinite due to its scaling passives and good overall DPS. However, it doesn’t have full AoE like Twenty One and Dragon Emperor.
- Gohun ā Gohun is a hybrid exclusive unit with immunity to stuns and ramping damage as he kills units during waves. Plus, he has a multihit line AoE attack with a really good DPS and extremely low SPA.
- Greybeard ā Greybeard is one of the few full AoE non-secret units, and his range is amazing. Plus, he is a hybrid, removing the need for a hill unit, and he gets stun when evolved. He is definitely meta right now.
- Pikkora Yellow ā Pikkora Yellow is full AoE when you evolve him and also has a buffing passive for other units. He is great overall, though he can only target ground enemies.
- Brolio ā Brolio is a hybrid unit with full AoE when evolved and pretty good DPS and range. Plus, his passive increases his damage as he attacks, making him OP for Infinite.
- Hawk Eyes ā Haw Eyes gets +100% DMG against bosses (+250% when evolved) from his passive, making him the best boss-killer in Anime Reborn. Plus, his cone AoE attack and low SPA make him a solid mob killer as well.
- Itaha ā Itaha applies burn and has excellent DPS and range. He is extremely good for dealing with mobs and can also kill bosses if you don’t have Hawk Eyes yet. Plus, he is a hybrid unit.
S Tier Anime Reborn Units
- Oda ā Oda has a big AoE attack on max upgrades and solid stats all around. His crit-buffing passive is also nice. However, he isn’t the best mythic to get, as he can’t target air like most others.
- Payne ā Payne is a support/DPS mythic who can stun enemies every 4 attacks. He is also full AoE, but his DPS is lackluster. Generally, there are better options both in terms of DPS and utility.
- Super Gohu ā Super Gohu is a hill unit that is actually really handy and has pretty good DPS. However, his line attack and garbage passive cripple him.
- Sun Prodigy [Blazing] ā Sun Prodigy [Blazing] is an AR early-access exclusive unit. He has burn, okay DPS, and 4 max placements. Use him until you get more mythics.
- Yune Gossi ā Yune Gossi is an exclusive unit with a ground line AoE attack that has multi-hit. She is a pretty solid shield-breaker, and she also has bleed, making her extremely useful against enemies with regen.
A Tier Anime Reborn Units
- Kuzar ā Kuzar is one of the best DPS/shield-breaking legendaries in Anime Reborn, with extremely low SPA and solid range. He is excellent as a starter.
- Jenos ā Jenos is a hybrid DPS/shield-breaking unit with burn in his kit. He is pretty solid, though there are a few better legendaries you can use.
- Droid 18 ā Droid 18 is an ultra-cheap legendary hill unit with pretty respectable DPS. However, she doesn’t have a slow passive like Uriu.
- Uriu ā Uriu’s stats aren’t the best, and the 25% chance of slow on her passive is just too low. Still, she is a hill unit and can be useful if you have nothing else that can target air.
- Zenit ā Zenit is the best starter epic unit in Anime Reborn, as he has full AoE on placement. Don’t upgrade him much because he loses full AoE with his second attack.
- Red Boss ā Red Boss is the cheapest epic DPS, and he is pretty useful if you’re just starting out.
- Neja ā Neja is extremely bad on placement, but on max upgrades, he is probably the best epic unit, with full AoE, good range, and fairly good DPS.
B Tier Anime Reborn Units
- Boulder Lee ā Boulder Lee is full AoE on max upgrades, making him one of the best legendary units for Infinite. However, upgrading him fully in shorter modes might be hard.
- Yaske ā Yaske has good DPS and range, but he is still worse than most other legendaries in AR.
- Vegoto ā The increased range Vegoto gets from his passive is nice but not enough to make him a viable pick.
- Heyey ā Heyey has relatively low range and damage, making him one of the worst epic units in Anime Reborn.
- Inoke ā Inoke is pretty similar to Heyey and is also among the worst epics.
- Sijin [PTS] ā Sijin [PTS] is by far the best rare unit in AR and the only one worth using. He is full AoE with burn on his attacks and amazing range. Plus, he has 6 max placements and can carry you through quite a few early stages.
- Pun ā Pun doesn’t have AoE like Sijin, but his passive allows him to stack damage and range with more Puns placed within range. Plus, his placement is extremely cheap, making him an excellent beginner unit.
C Tier Anime Reborn Units
- Ihigo ā Ihigo has a good range and DPS, and he can also target air. He is probably the best hybrid unit you can get right when you start Anime Reborn.
- Laugfy [PTS] ā Luagfy [PTS] has a cone AoE attack and is arguably the best of the default units you can pick when you log in for the first time.
- Noroto ā Noroto gets increased damage for every other Noroto in range. As far as rare units go, he is actually viable.
- Mr. Set ā Mr. Set has a cone AoE attack that targets only ground. He is very bad overall.
- Sukura ā Sukura is one of the worst rare units. Still, she is somewhat cheap to place.
- Usog [PTS] ā Usog is one of the few rare units that can target air. Use him if you really have nothing else.
- Susake ā Susake has somewhat okay DPS for a rare unit, but he is still bad.
- Kurulin ā Kurulin can target air, making him useful for some early story maps.
- Zero [PTS] ā Pretty bad DPS in general. There are other rare units you should use besides Zero.
- Tin Tin ā Tin Tin is the worst rare unit in Anime Reborn. The 10% attack increase she gets from her passive is irrelevant.
Now that you’ve checked out our tier list and learned what’s currently meta in Anime Reborn, it’s time to start summoning those OP units and get them the best traits!
