Phantom Pain E3 demo, but differently
Konami showed off a lengthy Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain demo during E3 this year. But Metal Gear has been more about supporting different play styles in the latest entries and The Phantom Pain‘s open world and large mission areas (to say nothing of the vast armory or selectable buddy characters) allows for more takes on a mission than before.
Snake does things differently in this example, utilizing Quiet and D-Horse more than Diamong Dog and the lil walker robot.
Just from watching Phantom Pain videos I always notice one key difference from how I played the first 14 hours of the game. I never drove a vehicle, save for crossing long straight aways on Mother Base. Why drive a car when you have a more nimble horse that poops on command?
