Two new guns, the Tanto .22 and the DM-10, make their mark in Black Ops 6’s Weekend Two. The DM-10 excels in mid to long-range attacks, as you may expect for a Marksman Rifle. The Tanto .22 expands the SMG collection, which was previously dominated by the Jackal PDW in Weekend One. We could see a change to the weapon meta lineup with the new nerfs and buffs that were mentioned in the patch notes.

Overall, weapons have been significantly improved upon in Weekend Two, including better gun swap speed and movement adjustments. There are sure to be a few more tweaks after Weekend Two, paving the way for BO6’s full launch.

If you’re looking for weapon blueprints, you might want to take a look at the exclusive Vault Edition. This pack includes brand-new content, such as the AMES 85’s Plague Doctor, the Combat Knife’s Mind’s Eye, and Marine SP’s Unrepentant.

You must earn enough XP and progress through the ranks if you have yet to unlock all Black Ops 6 beta weapons. Focus on the Daily Challenges and play enough modes to level up fast. If you previously struggled with Weekend One’s slow Weapon XP speed, I have some good news for you. Leveling up should be much faster with the new update, which has decreased the amount of time that’s needed for the upgrade.

Fortunately, automatically unlocked weapons are already good on their own, including the XM4 Assault Rifle and Cigma 2B Launcher. You’ll still need to level up each respective weapon to obtain attachments, boosting their performance further. Players may also notice a new third slot option for Melee weapons, differing from past Call of Duty iterations. Check out our guide on how to use it to learn more about the Black Ops 6’s Dedicated Melee feature.
