All Remembrance Bosses and Rewards in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree

Prizes to the victors.

Boss fights and Elden Ring go together like boss fights and any other Soulsborne game. They are challenging, sometimes frustrating, but always worth it when you finally hear that glorious dramatic sting and get the enemy defeated message on screen. In Elden Ring, there is a particularly powerful set of bosses called Remembrance Bosses, and they can give you some excellent rewards.

Please be advised that the list below contains some pretty big spoilers. I have avoided spoiling the final boss as much as possible. Remember, you need to bring the Remembrance to Roundtable Hold and hand it in at the NPC near the Two Fingers, then select your reward.

If you are looking for a good order to tackle the bosses in the DLC, you can find a solid boss order here. For more information on the drops from each of the above bosses, read on.

Enraged Divine Beast

A talisman that “raises the potency of storms.” Testing seems to indicate this will increase the damage of any Ashes with Storm in the name.

In-game lore: A charm depicting the crazed, cavorting dance of the divine beast conducted at the tower festival. Raises potency of storms. Divine beasts are messengers of the heavens, and their rage mirrors the tumult of the skies, of which storms are the pinnacle.

Ash of War: Divine Beast Frost Stomp

Gives you both Cold damage and an Ash move.

In-game lore: This Ash of War grants an armament the Cold affinity and the following skill: “Divine Beast Frost Stomp: A skill which imitates the wrath of the divine beast’s dance. Lift a leg up high and stamp it down with great force. Sends a powerful wave of frost straight out along the ground. Can be charged to increase power and range.” Usable on all melee armaments.

Rellana’s Twin Blades

Twin blades with flat D scaling across Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, and Faith. They do combined Physical, Magic, and Fire damage.

In-game lore: Carian light greatsword embedded with blue glintstone. Weapon of Rellana, the Twin Moon Knight. Two swords as a single armament. When two-handing, a straight sword engraved with golden flame will be carried in the left hand. Here, and here alone, were moon and fire ever together.

Renalla’s Twin Moons

A spell that causes twin moons to appear and repeatedly strike the ground. Requires 72 Intelligence.

In-game lore: Sorcery of Rellana, the Twin Moon Knight. Associated with a Carian princess. Incarnate overlapping twin moons which strike the ground one after the other, violently shaking the earth with moonlight. In her childhood, she and her elder sister Rennala met these moons. Overlapping, as though nestled against one another.

Spear of the Impaler

A Great Spear that does physical and fire damage. Scales well with Dexterity.

In-game lore: Weapon of Messmer the Impaler. A greatspear with a warped blade in the shape of undulating flame. Remade by the forging arts of the realm of shadow, this weapon can be thrown by executing a strong attack, dashing strong attack, or mounted strong attack. Charge the attack to produce flame on impact.

Messmer’s Orb

A fire spell that requires 60 Faith.

In-game lore: Summons Messmer’s flame to form a giant floating orb. The orb soars toward a foe, crashes into the earth, and explodes after a brief delay. Charging enhances potency. Messmer despised his own fire. Time and time again he hoped to rid himself of it, but ever did it burn.

Putrescence Cleaver

A Greataxe that does physical and magic damage. D scaling with both Strength and Arcane.

In-game lore: Weapon wielded by the Putrescent Knight. A great cleaver of hardened putrescence affixed to an arch fashioned from human bones. Gains power from the wielder’s arcane attribute.

Vortex of Putrescencece

A spell that launches a “whirl of putrescent jets”.

In-game lore: Sorcery used by the Putrescent Knight. Launches a whirl of putrescent jets that explode shortly after impact and bathe the area in ghostflame. In an age long past, Death was burned by ghostflame. Even the
remains of tainted flesh were given equal treatment in death.

Sword Lance

A Heavy Thrusting Sword, this is a C scale with Strength and does purely physical damage.

In-game lore: Weapon once wielded by Commander Gaius. A combination of greatsword and lance. Weighty and capable of being brought to bear with great force, this armament shows its true potential when used astride a mount. Gaius himself was never without his boar.

Blades of Stone

A spell that summons rock blades from the earth. Requires 48 Intelligence.

In-game lore: Gravity-manipulating sorcery of Commander Gaius. Pulls blade-like clumps of rock from the earth. Charging increases potency. Gaius and Radahn were good rivals in their youth, and this sorcery is a product of their friendly competition.

Greatsword of Damnation

Does physical and Holy damage, scales well with Strength and Faith.

In-game lore: Golden greatsword that once pierced the body of Midra, master of the manse. Used by the hornsent in the execution of a damnation like no other. The barbs that pierce the victim from within wind gently around the blade.

Midra’s Flame of Frenzy

This spell is pretty metal, summoning the Lord of Frienzied Flame’s head. Requires 41 Faith.

In-game lore: Incantation in praise of Midra, Lord of Frenzied Flame. Summons an apparition of the Lord’s head to spew frenzied flame. This incantation can be used while in motion. The apparition will remain for as long as the input is held. The Lord of Frenzied Flame shall take their torment, despair. Their affliction. Every sin, every curse. All melted away. Yet Midra, like others before him, was too weak to become a Lord.

Staff of the Great Beyond

This Glintstone Staff scales well with both intelligence and faith.

In-game lore: Staff fashioned from the tail-fingers of Metyr, the Mother of Fingers, and the microcosm raised aloft over the crux they form. Catalyst for casting both sorceries and incantations. The Mother received signs from the Greater Will from the beyond of the microcosm. Despite being broken and abandoned, she kept waiting for another message to come.

Gazing Finger

A colossal weapon that will do physical and magic damage. Had quite broad requirements of 20 Strength, 8 Dex, 20 Intelligence, and 14 Faith.

In-game lore: The head of Metyr, the finger-mother, wielded as a weapon without modification. From within the center of the fingerprint that wrinkles the creature’s foremost protrusion, a tiny wart-like eye gazes vacantly into the beyond.

Shadow Sunflower Blossom

A colossal weapon that does Holy and physical damage.

In-game lore: The head of a monstrous shadow sunflower manifestation of the Scadutree. Then again, it might be just a flower, wielded as a weapon. Much like the Scadutree itself in appearance, a second stalk winds tightly around the first, almost as if in a tender embrace.

Land of Shadow

This Incantation will fire a hail of golden projectiles at enemies.

In-game lore: Incantation originating from Scadutree avatars. Creates a hail of golden projectiles which are fired toward foes after a brief delay.  This incantation channels the force of the Scadutree’s power, and its gold is accompanied by shadow.

Poleblade of the Bud

A halberd that scaled with Dexterity and Arcane.

In-game lore: Weapon of Romina, Saint of the Bud. A scarlet glaive with a dangling bud-like blade. Attacks cause buildup of rot. Once, in the crumbling, burning church, Romina held the bud in speechless silence. That bud would become her blade.

Rotten Butterflies

An incantation that summons butterflies that scatter rot. Requires 33 Faith.

In-game lore: Incantation used by Romina, Saint of the Bud. Summons a myriad of butterflies while performing a gentle twirl. The butterflies break apart on contact, scattering rot and setting off a chain reaction. The scarlet butterflies are as the Goddess of Rot’s wings. Bereft of a master, they were soothed by Romina, who reached out to them.

Greatsword of ??? (Lord)

This does Physical and Magic damage. It requires 32 strength and 24 dexterity, along with 15 intelligence to use.

Greatsword of ??? (Light)

This does Physical and Magic damage. It requires 32 strength and 24 dexterity, along with 15 intelligence to use.

Light of Miquella

An incantation that requires 72 Faith. Casts a vicious pillar or light at enemies.
