All Ravendawn Professions, Explained

In newly released MMORPG Ravendawn, professions are very important. The economy in Ravendawn is entirely player-driven, meaning anytime you want to get some new equipment, potions, boats, or even housing decorations, you’ll either need to craft it yourself or buy it from a player who has. In total there are ten professions, five of which are Gathering and another five which are Crafting. Here are all Ravendawn professions and how they work.

Ravendawn Gathering Professions

The five Gathering professions in Ravendawn will gather resources that are then sold or used by those Crafting to create new items. All five Gathering professions have their own talent trees as well that can increase the resource amount gained and resource quality. Here are the five Gathering professions:

• Farming — All players have the opportunity of acquiring their own piece of land where they can carry out Farming. Farming allows you to receive raw items such as Cotton, Potatoes, and more which can then be used in al; the Crafting professions.
• Fishing — Fishers in Ravendawn can fish from the shore or take a fishing boat out to gather various types of fish that can be used in Cooking recipes or sliced up to be used in other Crafting professions and even tradepacks.
• Husbandry — Similar to Farming, Husbandry allows players to create their own animal farms on their own plot of land. From here they can shear the Wool off sheep or even butcher pigs for meat. All the resources are used in other Crafting professions.
• Mining — In Ravendawn Mining can be seen as one of the most important Gathering Professions. Players will head deep underground to mine ores and stones used to craft gear in Blacksmithing as well as other professions.
• Woodcutting — Typically Woodcutting is the Gathering profession that chops down trees to provide various types of wood to Carpenters. From here, Carpenters can create new equipment as well as other nifty items like boats and house furniture.

Ravendawn Crafting Professions

The Crafting professions in Ravendawn typically rely on the resources obtained by Gathering professions, and allow the player to create some useful items.

• Blacksmithing — Using resources gathered by miners, Blacksmithing allows players to craft various items and equipment and can later even forge dragon scales into armor.
• Breeding — All players in Ravendawn use Moas as their mount, and via Breeding, players can pick the best traits to pass onto other Moas when breeding. Through this profession players can raise faster and more skillfull Moa mounts with the feather colors they are looking for!
• Carpentry — With all the wood available from Woodcutting, Carpentry allows players to create furniture, fishing rods, bows, staves, and more using the various types of wood.
• Cooking — Cooking allows players to cook up a variety of dishes which can grant buffs to players, and can be considered one of the most important professions.
• Weaving — Players that choose Weaving can craft clothing and other garments from cloth and leather that other players can wear.

An interesting feature of this MMO is that all Ravendawn Professions can be used by all players. You can have all ten professions, and do not need to specialize in any single one. Of course, each profession takes a lot of work to level up, so it will be hard to truly master them all.
