How to get the Camera

In order to complete this quest you first need to purchase a Camera. Antonio will inform you that you need to photograph strange inscriptions around Vatican City and further investigate them together back in Antonio’s office. Open your Map or view your Journal then head in the direction of the quest marker. Sneak inside and you will find a friend of Antonio’s who has the Camera.

Unfortunately, he wants you to pay him a pretty penny for the Camera. You will need $379 to buy the Camera from him. If you’ve been collecting money you find lying around up until now, you should have enough. I had $559 available at the time to purchase the Camera. It may seem like a lot, but there is no other way to get the Camera, so you will need to buy it one way or another. If you don’t have enough money for it, you’ll need to go outside into the streets of Vatican City and rummage through the Fascist military tents or complete side jobs to earn enough cash.

The Stolen Cat Mummy Quest Guide ā€” All Photograph Inscriptions

With the Camera in hand, your quest objective for The Stolen Cat Mummy will update to indicate that you need to find the four Photograph Inscriptions scattered throughout Vatican City. Oddly enough, each Inscription is found alongside a special emblem and some cryptic Latin writing, making them easy to find once you know where to look. Once found, simply pull out your cameraā€”the default hotkey for it is ‘2’ on they keyboardā€”and aim it at the Inscription. You’ll see a popup showing the name of the inscription, after which you just click to take a picture. Here is where you can find all the inscriptions that you need photograph for The Stolen Cat Mummy quest:

First Photograph Inscription Location

The first inscription you need to photograph can be found on a small memorial in a garden located off the main street in Vatican City. Head outside the building and cross the street. Your objective marker will indicate you need to head through an open door that leads down another street, but then immediately turn left and you will find the garden. You can also check the screenshot above and look at the arrow on the northeast side of Vatican City. This is where you will find it.

Second Photograph Inscription Location

The second inscription can be found on a fountain located on the main street of Vatican City. Head back out through the door you entered to reach the side street with the garden, and you’ll be back on the main street. Head to the middle of the street while making sure to avoid the Fascist Captains as they will see through your priestly disguise.

In the middle of the street, you’ll find the fountain. For some reason this one was really picky about the angle at which I took it, constantly talking about making sure I included the inscription. But if you look, there are not actually any inscribed words on this one. If you have the same problem, just move around a little bit and try to take the picture at a different angle.

Third Photograph Inscription Location

You can find the third inscription you need to photograph alongside a building in a small backyard. Head down the main street of Vatican City and you will see some scaffolding that you can climb up to enter the area with the backyard. Simply drop down and you will see the third photograph inscription location right ahead next to the door.

As per usual, pull out your Camera and snap a picture of the inscribing. The fourth and final photograph will require some platforming and parkouring to reach, but that won’t be an issue with Indy’s trust whip.

Fourth Photograph Inscription Location

The fourth and final photograph inscription location for The Stolen Cat Mummy quest is a bit tricky. Once again head to the scaffolding in the back of the main street in Vatican City and climb up, but this time use your whip to swing to another location. Continue climbing up and around the visible ledges here and you will reach a balcony in which you can find the fourth and final inscription location.

Snap a photo with your Camera, and The Stolen Cat Mummy quest will update telling you to return to Antonio to review the photographs you took. Your quest marker indicator will update, so simply head to the area marked on the north end of the main street to and then up to the second floor to find Antonio and proceed with your quest and begin reviewing the fourth photograph inscription locations you snapped a picture of.
