All new mods with Warframe’s Jade Shadows update

These mods may leave you feeling Jaded.

Warframe’s Jade Shadows update comes with a lot of new content that’s immediately interesting. The new cinematic quest is great for those who’ve caught up with the story so far, the newest frame Jade makes for a great support frame, and all the new weapons make for easy Mastery, or possibly some new tools for your arsenal.

One aspect that’s not talked about much however can be massive for your builds. Here are all the new mods introduced with Warframe’s Jade Shadows update.

While not many mods were introduced with this update, four new augment mods are available for Protea, Sevagoth, Dagath, and Qorvex. Each of these can be slotted into that frame to change up one of that frame’s abilities, giving it more functionality or completing transforming it. Here is each mod, along with what it does:

  • Temporal Artillery (Protea)
    • Blaze Artillery Augment: When Temporal Anchor is activated, one existing Artillery unit will attach to Protea, halting its duration countdown. Max combo count is 20x.
  • Dark Propagation (Sevagoth)
    • Sow Augment: Enemies killed while inflicted with Sow spread its effect in a 15m radius. Shadow’s Death Harvest also inflicts Sow.
  • Spectral Spirit (Dagath)
    • Grave Spirit Augment: Immediately assume Grave Spirit’s Spectral Form. 100% chance for weapons and abilities to apply Doom. Kills outside of Spectral Form decrease its cooldown by 1s.
  • Wrecking Wall (Qorvex)
    • Containment Wall Augment: Strip 50% of armor and shields from struck enemies. Hitting five or more enemies will restart the duration of any Chyrinka Pillars and empower them.

While most of these augment mods will likely have niche uses if not being completely outclassed, the augment mod for Qorvex is particularly interesting. Armor strip builds are a major thing for late-game content in Warframe, so having one ability provide 50% armor strip is massive and helps reduce the amount of other armor stripping you might need.
