EA Sports has provided players with the option to choose between four different settings. Each difficulty has certain benefits (and cons as well). This allows players of all experiences to enjoy the gameplay without enduring too many challenges.

Can you change the difficulty in Madden NFL 25?

One of the first activities in Madden NFL 25 involves choosing your preferred difficulty and control settings. If you have played Madden NFL 24, you can inherit your old settings. But you can also make changes when setting up the game for the first time.

You can also change the in-game difficulty later. Hence, there are no worries when it comes to changing difficulty in Madden NFL 25.

Here are the four available settings.

  • Rookie: The easiest of four difficulty settings, Rookie is a great start for beginners and those who are picking up the franchise for the first time.
  • Pro: A decent experience for newer Madden players who have prior experience with the franchise but haven’t played a lot.
  • All-Pro: This mode is a pretty difficult experience and meant for those who are well-experienced with recent Madden games. It is best to avoid for casual players.
  • All-Madden: The highest difficulty setting, and ideal for those who love the hardest challenges in every game. This setting is perfect only for those who have years of experience with the Madden franchise.

Do remember that you can only set difficulty for modes where you play against AI. Games against other human opponents will obviously have no set difficulties and depend on the skill level of the players.
