All House Flipper Dine Out recipes and how to unlock them

Cook up a storm

Despite having a direct sequel, House Flipper is still getting updates and DLCs. The latest of these is the Dine Out DLC, adding rental opportunities, tablecloths, and perhaps most importantly, recipes to collect and make.

Cooking up a storm might seem like an odd choice of activity in a building renovation game, but creating meals using the Universal Cooker is a solid way to gain experience and unlock new Skill Perks. It also adds a touch of realism to restaurants and homes, allowing you to put actual food on the table so that an environment looks a lot less sterile.

Also, each recipe you unlock comes with an actual recipe you can follow in the real world to create the dish. As someone who loves cooking, that’s a massive perk.

There are a total of 31 recipes to unlock in the Dine Out DLC, with some coming from main story renovations and others unlocking through leveling up your skills. Here’s how to find them all and how much they cost to make.

To cook in the Dine Out DLC, you’ll first need to purchase a Universal Cooker. This is a new item that has been added as part of the DLC, and is now the first fully functioning piece of kitchen equipment you can own.

The Universal Cooker can be found in the Furniture > Kitchen > Electronic Equipment section of the store, or you can search for it in the top bar. It costs £2,211.72.

When interacting with the Universal Cooker, you’ll be given a list of all the recipes you currently have unlocked, and you can queue up to 10 meals to be cooked while you do other things.

The Dine Out DLC comes with 10 new story renovations to complete, which can be found by interacting with your computer and selecting the Job Map, then Dine Out. They unlock two at a time (not in the order listed below), so you’ll need to work through all of them if you want to find the first 10 recipes of the DLC.

These recipes can be found on pieces of parchment in locations around the renovations. They cannot be sold, and when you hover your mouse over them, you’ll have the option to “Use” the parchment to learn the recipe (as shown above).
