All gatherable wildlife locations in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

One of the Ubisoft Core Challenges in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is to register all 42 gatherable wildlife in your Hunter’s Guide. You don’t need to actually hunt or gather them, just scan them with your Na’vi senses to unlock their entries. Here’s a list of all gatherable wildlife and their locations in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora!

Arrow Deer

Found in the Crimson Trees biome of the Upper Plains. Rarer ones are near riverbanks.

Bladehead

Found in the Windswept Grasslands biome of the Upper Plains. Rarer bladeheads are found near sheltering bushpods.

Bone Helm Rhino

Found in the Shallow Bog biome of the Clouded Forest. Rarer ones can be found in clearings.

Boulderlands Thanator

Only found south of the Ensnared Lake in the Cascading Stones region of the Clouded Forest.

Brook Shell

Found near water in the Pillar Canyon biome of the Upper Plains. Rarer ones are on the Heart Pierce River near the Stone Blossom in the Shattered Bridge region.

Buoyfish

Found in bodies of water near sunset reeds. Rarer ones can be found in deeper water.

Chameleon Crawler

Found in the White Moss Forest biome of the Clouded Forest. They’re pretty rare, but there’s one near the Eywa’s Regard waypoint to the southeast of The Cut.

Cloaked Panther

Found in the Shattered Forest biome of the Upper Plains.

Coronis Nest

Found on windbent trees in the Windswept Grasslands biome of the Upper Plains. Rarer ones are found on the First Zakru.

Dense Bone

Found in caves throughout the Clouded Forest. Rarer ones are in caves in the Cluster Pines biome. There’s one such cave on the river south of Drill Outpost Alpha in the Cradling Pines region.

Echo Stalker

Found in the Cluster Pines biome of the Clouded Forest. Rarer ones come in packs of three or more.

Forest Hive

Forest nectar combs can be found in the Great Roots biome of the Kinglor Forest. Rarer forest nectar combs can be found in caves.

Hammerhead Titanothere

Found in the Bamboo Grove biome of the Kinglor Forest. Rarer ones are found near riverbanks and clearings.

Hexapede

Found in the Rainforest biome of the Kinglor Forest. Rarer ones are found near riverbanks and clearings.

Hollow Bone

Found inside sheltering bushpods in the Windswept Grasslands biome of the Upper Plains. Rarer ones can be found east of the Twisting Pillar River in the Shattered Bridge region.

Kinglor Cocoon Fiber

Found at the top of Hometree in the Kinglor Forest. Rarer ones are found on kinglor nesting trees after completing the Steady Wings side quests.

Kinglor Wetlands Thanator

Only found on Spool Island in the Silk Woods region of Kinglor Forest. 

Kite Manta Nest

Found at the top of frillstem trees in the Clouded Forest. Rarer nests are in the Shallow Bog biome.

Meer Deer

Found in the White Moss Forest biome of the Clouded Forest. Rarer ones are found in herds.

Moonscarab Nest

Found in caves throughout Pandora. Rarer ones are found in overgrown RDA facilities.

Mudcrawler Fish

Found in bodies of water near water moon lilies. Rarer fish are found in deep water.

Mudgem Shell

Found on top of mudstack fungi in the Shallow Bog biome of the Clouded Forest. Rarer ones can be found in the Ensnared Lake.

Octofin Fish

Found in water near forest seaweed. Rarer fish are found in deeper water.

Pale Coronis Egg Nest

Found in the branches of the tree at the very top of Tangled Heart in the Crimson Great Wood region of the Clouded Forest.

Pale Mudgem Shell

Found in the pool at the top of the Crying Giant in the Cascading Stones region of the Clouded Forest.

Pale Plains Hive

Pale plains nectar is found along the east wall of the cave containing the Reconnaissance Ancestor Skill in the Shattered Bridge region of the Upper Plains. 

Petrified Bone

Found in the Shattered Forest biome of the Upper Plains. Rarer bones are found near lightning grass.

Plains Hive

Plains hive nectar is found in the Pillar Canyon biome of the Upper Plains. Rarer nectar can be found at the top of Toruk Peak.

River Rock Shell

Found on petrified trees in the Shattered Forest biome of the Upper Plains. Rarer shells are found on petrified trees on the western bank of the Rock-Strewn River across from the Extractor Plant.

Scarab Crawler

Found in the Swamp Lowlands biome of the Kinglor Forest.

Soundblast Colossus

Found in the Windswept Grasslands biome of the Upper Plains. Rarer colossi are found near sheltering bushpods.

Stagfly Ant Hive

Stagfly ant nectar are found in the Cluster Pines biome of the Clouded Forest. Rarer stagfly ant nectar is east of the Crying Giant.

Stormglider

Found flying around high places around Pandora. There are two at the Aerial Defense Station in The Cut region of the Clouded Forest.

Stormglider Nest

Stormglider Eggs can be collected from nests near Stormgliders.

Sturmbeest

Found in the Bamboo Grove biome of the Kinglor Forest. Rarer ones gather around riverbanks.

Swamp Hive

Found in the Swamp Lowlands biome in the Silk Woods region of the Kinglor Forest.

Thanator

Only found south of Mentor’s River in the Gossamer Lakes region of the Kinglor Forest.

Viperwolf

Found in the Great Roots biome of the Kinglor Forest. Rarer viperwolves come in packs of three or more.

Weeping Night Shell

Found near waterfalls in the Upper Plains. Rarer shells can be gathered downstream of the Guardian’s Falls near the Clouds of Stone Na’vi camp.

Whipfang Crawler

Found in the Scarlet Thicket biome of the Clouded Forest.

White Moss Forest Thanator

Only found northeast of Carver’s River in the Cradling Pines region of the Clouded Forest. 

Yoten Nest

Yoten eggs are gathered from nests in the Raindorest biome of the Kinglor Forest. Rarer yoten eggs can be found in the floating mountains of the Boundless Range.
