Iām the type of person who keeps an eye on page count as I work my way through a book. For whatever reason, I like to know how close I am to the end. If youāre curious about where you are and where youāre going in Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth, here are all the chapters.
- Chapter 1 – Fall of a Hero (Nibelheim flashback)
- Chapter 2 – A New Journey Begins (Kalm/Grasslands)
- Chapter 3 – Deeper into Darkness (Mythril Mines)
- Chapter 4 – Dawn of a New Era (Junon)
- Chapter 5 – Blood in the Water (Cruise)
- Chapter 6 – Fool’s Paradise (Costa Del Sol)
- Chapter 7 – Those Left Behind (Mt. Corel)
- Chapter 8 – All that Glitters (Gold Saucer/Dustbowl)
- Chapter 9 – The Planet Stirs (South Corel/Gongaga)
- Chapter 10 – Watcher of the Val (Cosmo Canyon)
- Chapter 11 – The Long Shadow of Shinra (Nibelheim)
- Chapter 12 – A Golden Key (Return to Gold Saucer)
- Chapter 13 – Where Angels Fear to Tread (Temple of the Ancients)
- Chapter 14 – End of the World (Forgotten Capital)
This is fewer than the 18 chapters of Final Fantasy VII Remake, but thatās an arbitrary observation. Both the length of the game and the length of individual chapters vary. Chapter 3, for example, is relatively short, whereas Chapter 13 is by far the longest. Really, this just gives you a good idea of how much progress you made in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, but it doesnāt tell the whole story.
Does FF7 Rebirth have a chapter select?
Yup. You get access to the chapter select after you complete Chapter 14. But it doesn’t just drop you as you were at the beginning of a chapter. You can select what state everything is in, such as whether or not the quests you completed in those chapters are still marked as such. This allows you to go back and either finish what you missed or play through everything a second time.
