How do you unlock characters in Disney Speedstorm?

To unlock characters in Disney Speedstorm, you’ll need racer shards. They can be received through Unlock Packs, completing levels in the Golden Pass, and getting through each Season Tour.

You can also purchase character shards in the Shop. For example, three Meg shards were available for 900 tokens. If you get ten, she’ll be available as a character. Getting more character shards will level up your favorite Disney heroes and villains too.

Season coins can be used to buy MP coins as well. On the For You section of the shop, you’ll see a bunch of Unlock Packs. In my shop, I was able to get Steamboat Mickey for 3,000 MP Coins. I could also purchase the Mega Unlock Pack that gives me Steamboat Mickey, Steamboat Pete, Figment, Minnie, and Daisy for 4,999 MP Coins.

Lastly (I know this is a lot), you can buy boxes.; They’re random gacha-style boxes that give you random rewards like racer shards for Stitch or crew shards that buff your character’s stats. The Lilo & Stitch Season Box was 500 MP Coins. I was unlucky with these most of the time, however.

If you want to check the drop rate of each reward, press the button that’s designated to “Check Content” on the bottom left.
